Yo guys, it's Mike. Don't you just love when things work out? It's so rewarding when the healthy choices we make in one area transfer to the other areas of life without us even thinking about it. Exercise and diet tend to have that affect. When you eat well, and move well - things just get better everywhere else.

As a drummer myself, I wanted to get the goods from other drummers to learn what the biggest lifestyle challenges were that were ultimately keeping us away from our craft. I had hundred of chats and took notes. The end product? The Music Fit Method. A completely one-of-a-kind exercise program specifically geared towards helping musicians prepare for, recover from and optimize their performance both on and off the stage. We teach musicians how to move better and how to implement exercise into their lifestyle to, well, play better, get stronger, faster and have more stamina.

What exercise did San Diego based professional session drummer, Michael Stone do to help increase his playing speed and stamina totally by accident? Take a listen to the show today to find out. We went deep on what challenges have come up for him during 2020, how he's used exercise and nutrition to fuel himself through the chaos and of course - as drummers do - we get into a little shop talk and discuss his recording with the magnificent Carl Kingdom on The Great Architects Album in 2017 and what it felt like to follow up legends like Thomas Lang and Virgil Donati. So much goodness and such an incredibly nice human. Get into it, folks. This dude is the realest of the real.

Go follow Michael and get into his world - he's got an awesome Twitch account you can see and hear him play every week. Give him a shout and pay it forward. www.twitch.com/michaelstonedrums

As for the album he tracked with the likes o f Lang and Donati, Y
