We’re changing that.

MusicFit Underground is recruiting a small group of Field Agents—
rockumentarians, photographers, filmmakers, and creative operators
who know how to capture something real when it’s happening.

Not staged. Not polished.
Alive.

This is less about going viral.
This is more about building a living archive of Calgary’s underground.

🎯 YOUR ROLE

As a Field Agent, you’ll be embedded in the scene:

shows
sessions
conversations
moments most people miss

Your job is simple:

Capture the culture as it actually is.

🧪 THE INITIATION (4 MISSIONS)

Complete these four missions within 14 days.

Do it your way.
We’re looking for instinct, over perfection.

Note — in order to qualify for compensation, the pieces must be MF approved. We have standards. Each mission has a brief. Read it. Do it 100%.

MISSION 01 — THE ROOM

Document a live moment.

A show, a rehearsal, a jam, a crowd in motion.

30–60 sec video OR 5–10 photos
Focus on energy, not angles
We want to feel like we were there

MISSION 02 — THE STORY

Find one artist.

Have a real conversation.

60–90 sec video clip OR written piece
Prompt: “What keeps you doing this when it gets hard?”
No scripts. Just truth.

MISSION 03 — THE BODY

Capture the unseen side.

Training
recovery
pre-show rituals
behind-the-scenes moments

Show what it takes to stay in the game.

MISSION 04 — THE SIGNAL

Create one piece that represents the Underground.

Could be a short edit
a photo series
a written dispatch

Something that makes someone go:

“What is this… and how do I get in?”

💰 COMPENSATION

Complete all four missions successfully and MF approved:

→ Receive $100 CAD to cover your time and gear
→ Top agents get ongoing paid opportunities + access to shows
