It’s not your kidneys…
All that hoopla (mostly in the spiritual community) about frequency music healing all ailments is full on snake oil and here are three things you need to know before hiring some woo guru dressed in a kimono and waving a stick of burning patchouli. 🧙♂️
I’ve got 19 weeks left in my advanced training in Neuroacoustic Science For Entrainment. Yes. The cherry on top to making music that can bend minds and ACTUALLY help you live without limits and play without pain.
Here’s what I’ve learned so far…
I now have the super cheat code to take down the big boss every time. 👇🏼
So who’s the big boss?
In my two decades of experience in the health and wellness space, most everyone’s goal is to reduce stress.
Even if they say it another way ie:”I want to sleep better”, “I want to hurt less”… etc… it comes back to stress.
And for good reason. 👀
High perceived stress is associated with a notably higher risk of elevated allostatic load (our in a large, diverse cohort.
Data: N = 7,415, OR ≈ 2.18 (age/sex-adjusted), still significant (OR ≈ 1.29) after adjustment.
One thing the entire medical community can agree on (mostly 😉) is that stress causes disease.
Think of your body like a backpack. Every stressful moment adds another rock inside. A few rocks are fine, but if you never take them out, the backpack gets so heavy it wears you down. Scientists call that weight allostatic load - the wear and tear of carrying stress for too long.
if we wanna be healthy, fit and fresh, we wanna keep our allostatic load is positive. 😊
When it goes negative, disease occurs. 💀
What does it all mean, Basil…?
Instead of looking at the symptom, like the kidney, or the lack of focus… we need to look at the command centre. We need less sympathetic nervous system, the homie responsible for “fight or flight” like getting you away from the tiger. Instead, we need more parasympathetic. The guy that tells us to rest and digest. The Chilled TF out bruh. 🤙 😎
But here’s where the plastic shamans and gurus of frequency are misleading the community (and seriously discrediting the power of sound as a healing technology)…
The best way to get the “fight or flight” response to turn TF off is *not* by reducing stress and increasing the relaxation states… ‘cause, as I’ve seen both myself and in my students practice, that often creates more stress. Think about it… have you ever had trouble meditating then find yourself even more frustrated… ??😩
Stop doing that. Start following me. 👇🏼
I teach you, through sound (and story and sweat later…) that it’s by getting them both back to zero. Homeostasis. Here’s how 👇🏼
Sound, and in particular NeuroBEATS (my term ‘cause I’m 😎 ) can do that at a very precise, scientific level.
It’s not your kidneys. It’s your internal doctor who’s not telling the kidneys what to do.
Control the internal doctor so he can do his job and your symptoms will go away.
Thanks for coming to my TEDTalk. lol
Please be sure to share this out with one of your woo-skeptic friends. They had every right to be skeptical about those wizards in the mist… but tell ‘em you found the Rock Doctor and this is the truth about sound as medicine.
