10 Things Ai Will Never Do... (but I do on the daily)
and if you're reading this, I wouldn't worry about getting "left behind"
Every day, I get up, make my coffee and go outside to stand in the sunshine, barefoot and humbled by the sheer magnitude of this wonderful world I’m so grateful to live in.
And no, AI did not write that… Fcuk AI.
Before I get into it today, I will warn you - you’re going to think I’m a hypocrite. I’ve used AI for a ton of sh*t. I even created a whole magazine concept with it. It’s served a place in my life to help fuel my creative processes. To help bring me a different lens from which to examine the concepts I wanted to share in the moment. Faster than I could otherwise when I had to think, consider and contemplate. (Yes, there are levels to exploring thought...)
And then it no longer did that. It started taking away the same creative sparks it once fuelled.

Overall, AI is NOT the answer to human progress. Quite the opposite in my humble opinion. I know you’re probably thinking, “yeah, sure, you’re just selling the opposite path, Schwartz… what’s the difference? Why should I listen to you?”
And you might even be right… Maybe I am selling you another way…
However, if I have to sell you on what it means to be human, I’ve already lost you. You should stop reading here. Or better yet, turn your brain off (if it was even on…) and get ChatGPT to summarize this article… 😂
Real Talk
I’m just going to say it: AI is a threat only to those who are ready to abandon what it means to be human. That’s something we are unable to prevent. It’s like when an animal comes to the end of their life, they just give up… they just know, y’know? That’s how I feel about people who are hyper-vigilant toward integrating AI into all aspects of their day-to-day to make life “easier”, more productive or profitable. We’ve lost the plot on what it means to struggle and come out of adversity, and rest assured, I’ll unpack that below.
Here’s what I know and what I’m doing about it…
There’s a lot of buzz about the AI Invasion. Even Timbaland just announced “signing” his first AI artist, TaTa, to his new AI label. I once respected this gangster. But this move says something else. Something way deeper that I want to bring to the surface: Disconnection.
It seems as though everyone and their damn dog is turning to creating bots to help with the skills they once sold themselves. And hey, remember that hypocrite claim? Toldjaso. Guilty as charged. 🙋
Three things I learned about creating a robot to outsource my mind (and why it didn’t work)…
You can’t. Simple as that. The human mind works responsively. No character count, spreadsheet, or algorithm can reproduce what I would say in any given situation, not even close. We are such intricate beings that it’s simply impossible.
Connection > Calculation. As close as the answer might be, the answer is not where the gravity lies. It’s in the process. Simon Sinek explores this in his recent interview on The Diary of a CEO with Steven Bartlett here, if you’re looking for a more robust explanation. I’ll just leave it at that.
You break trust, rapport and get lost in the jungle of performative action. This one’s heavy. The more I tried to create the “right” answer, the more I confused myself and lost the direction I was going in. It was the ultimate abandonment of my inner knowing. I broke trust with myself, lost the relationship with myself and started conflicts with myself. The kicker? My inner world reflected my outer world, and as a result, I’m now the worst I’ve ever been financially in my life. Funny. What’s AI say about that?
What Ai is good at (and yes, there are two things it’s useful for)…
“Busywork” - creating plans, organizing thoughts, drafting non-creative resources, finding facts to support discussion… etc.
Analyzing a conceptual idea and providing a framework for action. I use this in my business to guide conversations I want to have, or to organize and ground my oftentimes “flighty” vision.
Outside of these two areas, it’s hard for me to get behind the outsourcing of the intimacy we carry as individuals, regardless of whether that’s for personal or professional reasons.
Take my poll! Do you feel this too, or is it just me…?
Call me a crusty old man, but I want to hear your voice…
I want to hear you’re thoughts. I want you to make a mistake because you’re emotional and feeling things. If the beauty is within the madness, why are we so obsessed with getting things perfect all the time?
I love the imperfection. I’ll be friends with 10 imperfect humans who learn and grow before I make 1 robot friend who’s got the right answer to everything ever. If you want to see it in action, just look at how we describe awkward, disconnected people… often we refer to them as “robotic” and “unemotional”. Yet we see it trending this way…

My Real Concern with Disconnection
When people worship the unreal, what they’re really saying is how deeply they crave connection. We outsource our human experience, and start and lose our connection with nature (the land), the tribe (our friends, family and community), and ourselves (self). We latch onto this fantasyland because dealing with the pain of reality is far too scary to confront. What problems we once used our creative minds to solve, we now plug into a machine and are given the “right” course of action.
Trouble is, have you ever had a conflict, used ChatGPT to remedy and ended up in a worse situation than you were before?
I know you have. I sure as hell have.
Why? ‘Cause despite getting the right answer, it’s more than that. AI is mind-numbing entertainment, and it lacks soul, depth and the full spectrum of the human experience. People wanna know you’re human and can f*ck sh*t up just like them, and when you’ve got the perfect answer, it’s too fake. All surface. No depth. It’s not a “grow together” moment. I talked at great length about it with a friend of mine, Ryan Withspoon, on his podcast “Summit to Soul Mountain” a couple of years ago, which goes to show how much foresight we have when we tap into our inner guide, free from the commotion.
Final thoughts
If this has inspired you in some way, please take action to show your support. As an independent thought-leader, multi-passionate creative and overall pretty cool human, I rely souly (see what I did there…😆 ) on using my mind to move mountains. It starts with small rocks, so please take a peek below to see what I can do in order of commitment (free —> high ticket), to help bring deeper meaning to your life.

Two and a Half Ways to Support Me for Under $100…
Buy any of my music here! ($1-100)
Buy a ticket to my Full Moon Listening Party + Ceremony on June 11 (Pay What You Want)
Buy me a coffee or vouch for a Premium tier on Substack
One Way to Support Me that’s Priceless (but actually a LOT more than $100)…
Book a chat with me to see if I can help you. How? I dunno yet. I do a few things. I’m a movement coach, professional musician, and I specialize in helping people see things differently and build the life of their dreams. Everything I do is deeply rooted in my love for connecting people to their highest selves.
How does that support you then? When you book a chat, you support me in living in full alignment. After losing Darwin last week, it’s been abundantly clear that I’m here on this earth to help others, transmuting great pain into power, and if I can be a guide for you, that’s the highest form of support. 🙏
*Note, the call is pay what you want, and I use these calls to talk about where you’re at, where you wanna be and what’s been stopping you. By the end of it, you’ll have an action plan and the choice to book a second call to talk business only if we both agree that I can 100% help you get where you wanna be. None of that salesy schtuff… leave that to AI, right? 😆
If that sounds good to you, or if you know a friend, family member, partner, or colleague who could use a hand navigating this wild world, I’m looking for 3 more 1v1 clients. Please click the button below to reserve a time that suits you this week, and we can see what’s going on. 👇
Thanks for being here. ✌️
