We Buildin' This Thing Or Nah...?
An Ode To The Fence-Sitters...
I was pacing around my apartment the other day, holding my coffee like it had answers.
The sun hadn’t quite broken through the blinds yet, and I found myself stuck in that in-between space—too awake to rest, too uncertain to move.
I’d been thinking about this rhythm I’ve been in lately.
Not a bad rhythm. Just… one that might be ready to shift.
There’s this pressure to build. Bigger. Louder. More.
But I’ve been resisting the urge to create for the sake of growth.
Instead, I’ve been listening. Deeply. To myself. To the rhythm.
One of my mentors taught me the CO-CEO exercise for times like this.
I use it with all my mentees now—when they’re sitting on a fence they don’t want to live on.
Here’s how it works:
Ask your heart: Do you want this? Does it light you up?
Then ask your gut: Is there tension? Resistance? Any red flags?
If both say yes: do it.
If both say no: don’t.
If they disagree: wait.
Because the only thing you get from sitting on the fence is hemorrhoids.
Here’s where I’ve landed:
I love working 1:1.
That’s where I do my best work—helping people turn their mess into music, their story into sound, their rhythm into clarity.
If you want that, I’ve got a few mentorship spots open. Just reply and we’ll start the convo.
But I also know not everyone’s ready for that level.
Some of you want a consistent rhythm—a space to train, breathe, move, and create together.
So here’s the question I’m holding:
Should we build a $200/month community dojo?
A space where:
We meet weekly for group training (movement, meditation and journaling practices)
You get an on-demand video library of past sessions & exclusives
You receive monthly Q&A, breathwork, mindset rituals, and sonic meditations
You get quarterly check-ins & goalsetting sessions to stay in rhythm
And you’re not in Slack or Discord. This isn’t noise. It’s a container.
Would that support your nervous system?
Your creativity?
Your leadership?
Or would you rather just keep receiving these weekly drops?
(Also totally fine.)
All right answers.
If 10 of you say yes, I’ll build it.
If not—I’ll stay right here with The Dose and the 1:1s.
Here’s a poll to make it easy 👇
Thanks for being here. Stay sweet.
